(because a few of you have told me you’re having trouble finding it, the giveaway is at the bottom where it says Rafflecopter Giveaway but please read the whole post anyway;)
Well, I’m just a few months into my role as a Captain Ambassador with Skirt Sports and I have to say I am LOVING all the fun stuff! I am falling more in love with this company and it’s products every day, and am so thankful to be involved with them!
Just last night, in fact, I got to attend a special event at Luke’s Locker in Plano and got to meet the founder of Skirt Sports, Nicole DeBoom, which was a HUGE honor!
I was expecting maybe a meet and greet and a pic or two, but what I got was a 3 mile run where she was gracious enough to run my pace (which I know will shock you, but is somewhat LESS FAST than what she typically runs;). We chatted like old friends which, as all runners know, is what happens when you run together. We covered kids, jobs, depression, addiction, and feminism. And that was just the first half;). Such a blessing and a memory I know I’ll always keep!
And now, today, I’m getting to share some of the fun with you!! I’ve been given a free entry into the Skirt Sports 13er run (either virtual or in person) which includes the following:
- Race entry to either the virtual race or the actual race in Lousiville, CO!
- A $50 Skirt Sports Gift Certificate
- Finishers Skirt (the Don’t Sweat It pull over)
- Race number
- Sponsor Swag
It’s an amazing SKIRT SPORTS GIVEAWAY prize package worth $85! And it can all be yours! (I said that in my mind like the announcer guy on The Price is Right)
You can also upgrade your entry when you check out to a higher gift certificate level, and the $85 will go towards that purchase. Such a fun prize!! Good luck, Everybody! And be sure to follow the prompts for additional entries.
If you’re in the Boulder area or looking for a great race (any half fanatics need the state of CO?) I’d love for you to join me, even if you don’t win the free entry!! Check out the website for all the details!
What a wonderful prize! So glad someone I know is a Skirt Sports ambassador (which autocorrect thought was “bad safer” when I typed it wrong). Love their stuff!
What in the world do they think bad safer means? LOL! On a friends FB page they were showing bad auto correct and it was a dating site. He said “I’m into pornography” which was auto corrected from PHOTOGRAPHY. Woops.
This is awesome! Sorry I couldn’t make it to Plano last night. I’d love to enter the giveaway, but can’t figure out how (I’m not always the best at figuring these things out).
Karen, are you seeing the Rafflecopter box? That’s where you do it. If it’s easier, I’ve also put a “giveaway” tab on the FB page that might make more sense?
I found it. Just didn’t know what I was looking for. Thanks!
These look cute!
They so are! Good luck, Erin!
I’m starting to notice more and more women running/being active in skirts, and it’s starting to make me think I should see what that’s all about. What an awesome giveaway!
You would ROCK one of these, Brandy!! Would look so cute on you!
Oh, I need this win!!! I need a race to look forward too! Someone has to finish last!! 😉
I’m almost positive you wouldn’t finish last this time! Would love for you to come join me, Rock Star!!
I just discovered that running skirts actually work for me and I have been dying to try a Skirt Sports! Plus I think it would be pretty neat to run a half in Colorado with one of my fave bloggers!
Yvonne, seriously how awesome would that be?? Would LOVE that!!
I have been wanting to try Skirt Sports since I have seen you sporting these cute outfits! More importantly, I think the messages that Skirt Sports endorses are critically important-both for women of my age and for my daughters as they struggle in today’s society!
Amen!! Totally agree with you, Kathy!!
I never tried Skirt Sports until my husband surprised me with a few items for Mother’s Day! Thanks Jennifer for your help / influence. They are VERY cute!
YAY! He told me he was doing that and I’m so glad they worked out!!
I love SkirtSports’ stuff! Sounds like Nicole is sweet and genuine. Lucky you to have met her!
She really was. Genuine is a GREAT word for her!
My very FIRST running skirt was a Skirt Sports running skirt. It was hot pink with hot pink shorts underneath. I wore that EVERYWHERE!!!! I love Nicole’s story and she seems like a blast to hang out with (a lot like you Jen!!!)
Awwww . . . right back at you, Jenney!! Been too long since we’ve seen each other!!
Thank you for this awesome opportunity! As a Skirt Sport Ambassador who practically lives in all things Skirt Sport, I will actually be there in Colorado for the 13er, so I hope to win so I can use the prize to register a friend in the race who will be traveling to Colorado from Boston.
Can’t wait to meet you, Sheryl!!
I have always wanted to run in a skirt. Skirt runners always look so happy and never look tired!!!
LOL! Then maybe we’re good at faking it? Thanks for reading, Tessa! Awesome comment!
I’ve been interested in trying a skirt for running but haven’t been brave enough to take the leap. This would be a great way to make me just do it.
YAY!! At the meet up there was a woman who bought her first one and then put it on and we all went running! She’s a Boston qualifier who actually just PR’d at Boston (who does that?!?!) so a very serious runner, and she loved it and looked adorable being awesome. Good luck!!
I’d like to win a skirt for my mom for her birthday!
Perfect, Garth! Love it!
I’d love to win because I have never worn a skirt to run and it would be a nice little birthday present for me as I hit the big 4-0 on the 27th. 🙂
Agree! And congrats on the big 40!!
Excited for this giveaway, would love to spend my birthday on June 14 celebrating with new outfit and CAKE!!!! So many cute skirts may be hard to narrow it down =)
It’s SO hard! I have a whole drawer full already and am always finding new ones I want to try! Good luck!
