After I reviewed the Special K Snack Bars, they approached me about trying their new Special K Brownies as well. As a girl who loves chocolate and has frequent chocolate obsession problems (otherwise known as cravings) I said OK, send them!

As always, my opinions here are completely my own. Yes, they sent me the stuff for free but I would never endorse a product I didn’t like.

So, what did I think?

THEY ARE MY NEW FAVORITE THING

The box got here yesterday. Both of them are empty. I love them and my kids loved them (but when I buy them, just like the snack bars, I will hide them. I’m very selfish like that;).

First off, they are small so be prepared for that. On the box they clearly state these are to “satisfy big cravings at only 80 calories”. I was skeptical – I mean, they don’t know my cravings. My cravings aren’t playing around. My cravings are trained professionals.

But when I took my first bite I was suddenly very happy. VERY chocolaty and although both flavors were yummy, I give the Heavenly Carmel a slight edge over the Divine Fudge (although the Divine Fudge was seriously chocolatey so depending on carving intensity, those may be a better call).

Sometimes when something is low in calories like this I’m tempted to eat more than a serving and it ends up actually not helping me at all, but I really did feel satisfied after having one. Sort of like having a great square of dark chocolate.
