Unbelievably, the number of cases in the US now stands at 23,000. I’m glad I’m documenting the day to day growth because honestly, I don’t think I would believe it otherwise.
Today was super busy but in a good way – long walk with Scott, a new video on Joyful Living, walking the dogs, cleaning up the house. Normal things during crazy abnormal times.
The boys are mostly handling everything well but we do have moments of hysteria and I from time to time get text messages with wild and crazy theories about the end of the world. It’s not a fun thing to be constantly deflecting, if I’m honest, and sometimes the information era gets on my nerves. Right now, I could do with a little less information, frankly, since I am helpless to fix any of it.
But we are doing our part by staying home! Went to the grocery store today just for milk and eggs and was thrilled to see limits – 2 per person on the most needed items. Hopefully that will help with the hoarding!
We ordered Italian and are going to watch Onward. Will be a welcome diversion for all of us!
Thank you for these daily updates. They really helped put things in perspective. (Just read them all starting with Day 1, and wow. I thought it was all happening quickly and your experience confirms it.) On March 12th canceled our March 14th-21st WDW trip since the parks were closing and rescheduled for early June. It seemed like a good time to go back – ha! It didn’t even occur to me that life wouldn’t be back to “normal” by then. All we can do is wait and see and in the meantime look to those who always seem to know the right things to say. Thanks for being here!
So much great truth there about a lot of things right now, Alaina! All we can do is wait and see. Hang in there!
