Are you in Training for Disney World Marathon Weekend? READ THIS RIGHT NOW!!

Whether you’re training for “just” the half, “just” the full, the Goofy or the Dopey, you are putting in some SERIOUS MILEAGE at this point. And if you’re like me, you’re getting SICK TO DEATH of running. And it’s getting REALLY HARD.

It’s not helping that outside it seems to be always COLD AND DARK. And every time you turn around, your training plan, on your phone or on your fridge, is screaming RUN MORE MILES.

You’re done, aren’t you??

So this post is for you!! I am filling it with only bright and happy things to remind you why you signed up for this stupid thing to begin with. Are you ready?????

When you run the marathon, you will run through this:

I can’t promise you’ll be this good looking;)

And also, you’ll run down this (with cast members and spectators screaming their heads off):

Main Street USA!!!!

And then you’ll see them – the famous GOSPEL SINGERS:

To be fair, this is during the Princess but you get the point.
And you’ll earn one of these:

You’ll also be running through ALL THE THINGS. If you’re running the full, that means Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios AND Epcot! You’ll be adored by cheering fans and that awesome lady in the scooter who is always there with the “I’m proud of you perfect stranger” sign.
You’ll see people dressed in amazing costumes and you’ll be wowed by the energy and the camaraderie that only a distance race can bring. And bonus, YOU’RE AT DISNEY WORLD.

Do you have any idea how many people dream of doing what you’ll be doing?

And when you’re done, you’ll head back to your hotel and you’ll feel like THIS GUY:
And then you’ll eat and drink and have your picture taken and talk about it for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.

And if all that didn’t work, watch this:
Now PUT ON YOUR BIG GIRL (OR BOY) PANTS AND FINISH YOUR TRAINING!

We are not diaper babies and we didn’t come this far to give up now.
