Sunday Morning

When I was a kid, my dad would always put worship music on first thing Sunday morning. Rather loudly, in fact. But it signified, to him and to all of us, that this was the day we were dedicating to the Lord.

This is how I’m starting my Sunday.

Our lives (ALL of our lives) have changed significantly since the time when Sunday mornings were carved out for worship. But if you’re like me, you still crave that quiet and small space and then that loud and gathered space – where we all gather together and say hello and sing songs and listen to some teaching.

You can watch the live stream of the church where I work, Irving Bible Church, right here at 9, 10:45 and 5pm every Sunday if you’re interested. Don’t worry, I don’t preach (I’m more of a behind the scenes kind of a pastor;), but the team who does (men and women) do a great job and I think you’ll like it.

And even if you don’t attend a worship service, try and take a few minutes today and be grateful and be still. Because that’s gonna be good for you. I promise.

Happy Sunday, Everyone.

Jen
