To read the latest information from the US government on exemptions, head here: (also I mistakingly said $1800 was the exemption amount and it’s actually $1600 currently and no, I did not admit to tax fraud in this video – my responsibility was to DECLARE the items and they have quite a bit of discretion on collecting the tax based on my experience, but always be prepared to pay the import tax. Also run the numbers to be sure you’re actually saving money. And I have kept all my paperwork just in case.)
