This has been a great and challenging week and I learned A TON. Ready? Here we go:
Don’t eat sweet potatoes with brown spots on them. Even if you cut off the brown spots, the sweet potato may have harmful bacteria that will give you food poisoning. (this article, #8).
You should wait 48 hours after your last “incident” from food poisoning to run.
Working part time is way better than working full time.
I have to make a budget. Because working part time pays way less than working full time.
If you have no towels either in your linen closet or in the hamper to be washed, they are all under your 17 year old son’s bed.
Even though your treadmill sat in 4 inches of water (including the motor) your insurance company will still want a declaration from a certified technician before they will consider it as a loss.
Treadmill repair companies are hard to find and take forever to come to your house.
I REALLY missed church. I cried through the whole worship set at First United Methodist Alpharetta’s contemporary service today. Beautiful worship service and was just SO AMAZING to stand and sing with my brothers and sisters. More of that, please.
Aleppo is the capitol of the most populous area of Syria and has been under siege. This video opened my heart wide open to the whole Syria thing. You should watch it, too. Just because it isn’t happening HERE doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Please consider giving to Save the Children or any trustworthy organization that is doing good in this region of the world and for these precious children.
That is all. It’s been a big week of learning and blessings. May the week ahead hold as many lessons and as many blessings for all of us.
