Dementia Care Giving

In part two of this 4 part series I’m sharing how we got mom to stop driving and the long journey to convincing her to move to an assisted living facility (or ALF). Mom has a combination of Alzheimer’s and Vascular dementia and although I am NOT an expert on dementia care or a clinician of any kind, I do hope that by sharing our experience others might benefit (if nothing else then from learning from our mistakes). To protect mom’s privacy, her name and any video footage of her is not included in this series. Thanks for understanding!
